The Paristown Block Party & Concert runs Thursday, October 22, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Paristown, and your Equip registration includes it.
You need no separate ticket and no RSVP. The party fills Old Forester's Paristown Hall and the surrounding area, and the venue address is 724 Brent St, Louisville, KY 40204. Get directions. If you drive, navigate to one of the parking lots below instead of the venue address.
Can I bring someone? Yes. Bring your family, friends and anyone from your crew.
Who is playing? Two bands play on two stages, both from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The Juice Box Heroes play inside Old Forester's Paristown Hall, and the Bibelhauser Brothers pick bluegrass behind Uncle Boojie's. Both bands stop at 9, and so does the night.
How do I get there? Ride a free Equip shuttle. Routes 1 through 7 all serve the event, picking up at your hotel and running continuously from 6:15 to 10 p.m. Check the shuttle routes page to find your hotel before you head out. Only one shuttle leaves from the Kentucky Exposition Center: the 6:15 p.m. departure for anyone coming straight from the Women's Leadership Reception.
Can I drive instead? Yes, and both lots are free: 712 Swan St and 822 Vine St, a 2-minute and a 4-minute walk from the party. Navigate to the lot address, not the venue address, because part of Vine Street and the corner of Broadway and Brent Street are closed to traffic that night. You can still reach either lot from Vine Street. See Where do I park for the Paristown Block Party & Concert?
How do I enter the $5,000 giveaway? Scan your badge at the shuttle drop-off area when you arrive in Paristown, and as an Equip attendee you could win $5,000. The shuttle drop-off area is the scan point whether you ride a shuttle or park. The drawing is at 8 p.m. inside Old Forester's Paristown Hall, so be in the hall when the winner's name is called.
What is there to eat and drink? Louisville vendors serve food, and every bar station pours specialty cocktails and mocktails. Louisville Water runs free water stations, cups included. Uncle Boojie's Distilling Co., the official show bourbon, has tastings for purchase by card, since Paristown is cashless. The Uncle Boojie's Homeplace distillery is in Paristown itself.
Do I need a card? Yes. Paristown is cashless, so bring a card for food, drink, bourbon and the shops.
What is Paristown? Paristown is a historic Louisville neighborhood established in 1854 and now an arts district. Old Forester's Paristown Hall anchors Paristown, with The Café, Uncle Boojie's, Village Market Food Hall, Stoneware & Co. and outdoor gathering space all within an easy walk.
What if it rains? The party runs rain or shine, and you will find tented and covered areas throughout Paristown.
Is the show floor open Friday? Yes. The Equip show floor is open again Friday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
