What Continuing Education Units for Chemical Applicators are offered at Equip Exposition?

Continuing Education is available to all attendees. However, CEUs are only for those who hold a license in an approved state and are currently certified.

It is important to note that Equip cannot guarantee CEU credits for every state. Please review the class list below to see which states recognize our programming. This document is updated as our applications are accepted.

Need To Earn Your License?

Earn your license in your state before seeking CEUs.

Kentucky:

Indiana: https://oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/index.html

  • Any person (individual, partnership, corporation, etc.) who applies pesticides for hire, within the state of Indiana, to the property of another or who advertises that they apply pesticides for hire must obtain an Indiana pesticide business license from the Office of Indiana State Chemist (OISC).
  • If your base of operation is outside the state of Indiana, an Indiana pesticide business license and applicators license may be obtained through reciprocity with the state from which the business is operating. Example: If the business is operating from Ohio, the applicator's reciprocity will need to be based on Ohio certification exams.
  • Reciprocity is ONLY offered for applicators operating in businesses located outside of Indiana.  Applicators associated with businesses located within Indiana MUST take Indiana exams.
  • However, for a person to earn Indiana CCH credit they must have taken our exams. If they have a license based on reciprocity, then they will not earn credit with us. They must maintain the state they used to apply for a license with us such as a Kentucky license. As long as the Kentucky license is good, they can have a license in Indiana.
  • Based on our exams, the first step to becoming licensed in Indiana would be determining which categories you want to be licensed in. You can find descriptions of our categories here: https://oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/continuing_certification_program.html#categories
  • Once you have decided on the category you can then get study materials from here:https://ag.purdue.edu/department/extension/ppp/commercial-applicators/certification/training-programs.html
  • Once you are ready to take the exams you can sign up here: http://indiana.metrosignup.com/
  • Once you have passed all exams you will then need to apply for the license and the application can be found here: https://oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/pdf/application_credentials.pdf
  • In addition, most licenses require a certificate of insurance and the requirements for that can be found here: https://www.oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/insurance_lic_business.html
